The film’s announcement was made by the actor himself on his social media handles with the caption “What you seek is seeking you’ – Rumi. A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. Toxic”. This announcement has set social media on fire and rightly so. Coming after KGF 1 & 2, Toxic is indeed one of the most hyped-up films not only in Karnataka but all over India.

Toxic Movie Plot

As of now, not much is revealed about the film’s plot but it is said to be an action-oriented film based on drug mafia operations.

The film is written and directed by actor-turned-director Geetu Mohandas who is known for her films Liar’s Dice which received two national awards and Moothon which was critically acclaimed. Coming to the cast of the film, it is too early to give any names. However, there’s a buzz that Sai Pallavi will be making her Sandalwood debut with this film. And it is also reported that the film will have three female leads.

Toxic is produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash himself under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. It is reported that the film’s budget is going to be no less than 100 crores.

Toxic Movie Release Date

According to various reports and sources, the film’s theatrical release was said to be 10th April 2025. This was confirmed in the title announcement video which was released on 8th December, 2023. So mark your calendars 10-04-2025 is the date.

Along with Kannada, The film is expected to be released in all the major Indian languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
