History Channel renewed the sixth season of Viking even before the imminent premiere of the fifth season. Well, the sad news is that the sixth season will be the last season of History’s Vikings. According to the History Channel, the sixth season of the Vikings will hit the screens in late 2019.
As far as the American viewers are concerned, they will be able to watch the series on the American Version of History Channel. On the other hand, the UK fans can watch the last and the final season of Vikings on the streaming platform, Amazon Prime. The fifth season of the Viking aired its last episode on the 30th of January 2019.
Vikings Season 6 Cast and Trailer
At the time of writing, Vikings is yet to release an official trailer for the sixth season. However, the broadcasting network did come out with a teaser trailer to entice the fans of the popular series. The sixth season will feature 20 episodes which would be divided into two parts, according to Michael Hirst, Vikings’ creator.
In addition to this, the lead actress Katherine Winnick who portrays the role of Queen Largertha will also direct an episode for the first time. Danila Kozlovsky, Alicia Agneson, Alex Hogh Andersen, Katherine Winnick will reprise their respective roles. The fifth season had a lot of deaths, and many of the notable characters were killed in battle. However, Bjorn Lothbrok played by Alexander Ludwig, Floki by Gustaf Skarsgard also survived the end of the fifth season.

The sixth season will direct its course of action across Russia and Europe. Moreover, Ivar will make his mark once he is done fleetingly from Kattegat. Meanwhile, the cast & crew of Vikings are sharing photos and videos of the production set of the sixth season.
