Unbelievable Season 2 Release Date : Will there be a second season of Unbelievable?

The reason why everyone is talking about Unbelievable Mini-Series which is a Netflix Original is that it is completely based on a true story. After people started to binge-watch Unbelievable the only thing that they are wondering is will Netflix curate another series to follow up the story?

As of now, Unbelievable is available for the users of Netflix to download and stream the series. On the other hand, the eight-part miniseries, as mentioned-above is completely based on real-life incidents. However, Netflix adapted the miniseries from one of the notable works by Kem Armstrong and T. Christian Miller’s An Unbelievable Story of Rape.

Will there be a continuation of the Miniseries?

Unbelievable stars Meritt Wever, Kaitlyn Dever, and the lead actress Toni Collete in groundbreaking roles. Netflix released the series on the 13th of September 2019 and the users of Netflix want to know if the series will be renewed or not.

By the looks of it, when a TV Series is deemed as Mini-Series, it means there will be no continuation. However, the popularity of the series is suggesting that fans are waiting for Netflix to tell them whether it would renew the series or not. If Netflix chooses to renew the series, then the streaming giant will announce within a couple of months. However, a miniseries never gets renewal until is very crucial such as “Firefly” which was then adapted into a film “Serenity.”

An insight on Unbelievable’s status quo

If Netflix changes its decision and moves forward to renew the series then it might hit the streaming giant in the summer of 2020. The series revolves around an 18-year-old teen who reports rape case to police; however, the police doesn’t believe her.

In addition to this, Unbelievable is inspired by a true story which happened to an American woman back in 2008. The series has been adopted from the Pulitzer-Prize winning article, “An Unbelievable Story of Rape.”
