Dave Chappelle is coming back to Netflix after making a debut in the Hollywood Broadway. Chappelle is finally ready to get back to working with Netflix. The streaming giant took it to several online media platforms to announce the release date of the forthcoming stand-up comedy show. The name of the new venture featuring Netflix and Dave Chappelle is Stick & Stones.
Netflix and Dave Chappelle are collaborating for the fifth time
Dave and Netflix have been associated with each other for a long time now. By collaborating, they are bringing some of the great stand-up comedy shows to the platform. Chappelle first worked with Netflix for Deep in the Heart of Texas in the year 2017. In the same year, the collaboration led to three more stand-up Netflix comedy shows namely, The Age of Spin, Dave Chappelle: Equanimity, Dave Chappelle: The Bird Revelation.
Moreover, Equanimity & The Bird Revelation came into being on the Eve of New Year 2018. Furthermore, the trailer of Stick & Stones didn’t reveal much about Dave’s material but the title of stand-up comedy at the of the trailer. Nevertheless, the most “fun” element in the trailer was the narration by Morgan Freeman. It suggests the criticism that the comedian faced for making jokes on the transgender population.
Chappelle will add another award to his everlasting stand-up career
Back in mid-2019, May, the jury and the critics said that Dave Chappelle is up to get the prestigious award and honorary for in terms of American Humor. Moreover, Chappelle will get the award at the Kennedy Center on the 27th of Oct on Sunday.
The lucky guess would be Dave Chappelle is going to risk is all, again, blame Morgan Freeman for these words! Stick & Stones will debut on Netflix on the 26th of Aug 2019.
