St Kitts & Nevis Patriots Schedule and Players List for Caribbean Premier League

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots team is one of the popular franchises of the exciting Caribbean Premier League. The cricket franchise is based in Saint Kitts and Nevis and has produced some excellent players in the T20 format. The team played its first Caribbean Premier League tournament in 2015 with the majority of its players selected from West Indian domestic teams.

Supported by Saint Kitts and Nevis government, and the local business community, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots expansion team was announced on 27th January 2015. During the 2015 Caribbean Premier League tournament, Warner Park hosted nine matches, played over 10 days in August, accompanied by several entertainment events. The venue hosted the final six group-stage matches, and the finals series, comprising two semi-finals and the final match.

Strengths of St Kitts & Nevis Patriots Squad

The main strength of St Kitts & Nevis Patriots team is their strong bowling attack which is complemented by young fast and spin bowlers on their side. They can easily be termed as one of the best bowling sides in this year’s Caribbean Premier League. They have fast pacers like Hassan Ali, Alzari Joseph, and experienced Chris Morris who can change the complexion of the game with their bowling attack. Their spin department has prolific spinners like Samuel Badree who can bowl leg breaks, and Hafeez and Nabi can bowl some excellent off-spin deliveries to confuse the batsmen.

Weaknesses of St Kitts & Nevis Patriots Squad

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots lack the depth in their batting order and will be depending heavily on the experience of hard-hitters Gayle and Hafeez, while the rest of them are youngsters or all-rounders. Although their all-rounders are good at supporting the team during the crisis, they do not have regular batsmen in the line-up.

St Kitts & Nevis Patriots players list has been announced for CPL 2021 and it has retained many players including, Sherfane Rutherford, Sheldon Cottrell, and Evin Lewis. They also traded Dwayne Bravo in the first round and Dominic Drakes in the second round during the auctions.
