Sam Bahadur is an official biopic of India’s first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw who is known for his contribution to the Burma campaign during World War II, the Sino-Indian War, and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The name ‘Sam Bahadur’ is given by the soldiers he led.

The film stars Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw. Sanya Malhotra as Silloo Manekshaw, Sam’s wife, Fatima Sana Shaikh as Indira Gandhi, Neeraj Kabi as Jawaharlal Nehru, Aanjjan Srivastav as Yashwantrao Chavan, Edward Sonnenblick as Lord Mountbatten and Govind Namdev as Sardar Vallabhai Patel.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film was written by Shantanu Shrivastava and Meghna Gulzar. Jay I. Patel is the cinematographer of the film. Nitin Baid is the editor. The songs of the movie were composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy while the background score was done by Ketan Sodha. Made with a budget of 55 crores, the film was produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the banner of RSVP Movies.
Sam Bahadur OTT Release Date
It is reported that the film’s OTT rights were bagged by ZEE5 but as of now, there is no official announcement regarding the film’s OTT release date. But don’t worry, we will give you a date to wait for. It is expected that the film will be near the end of its theatrical run in the coming two weeks so one can expect the film to stream online in the first week of January. However, instead of waiting for the OTT release, we recommend you catch the film while it’s still in the theatres.
