Mohanlal’s upcoming film Neru is all set to hit film screens across Kerala in a few days. While the film is still awaiting its theatrical release, there has already been a lot of talk about when and where the film’s OTT outing will be. So here’s everything we know so far about it.
The director, Jeethu Joseph, best known for his Drishyam franchise is coming up with a courtroom drama that revolves around Sara, a blind sculptor, who seeks justice after suffering trauma. She contends with the legal system and her resilience to find a resolution.
Neru Cast & Crew
Touted as an emotional courtroom drama, Neru stars Mohanlal, Sidhique, Priya Mani, Anaswara Rajan, Santhi Mayadevi, Jagadish, and Ganesh Kumar as the main cast. Alongside we can also expect many others to be playing supporting roles.
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film is jointly written by Santhi Mayadevi and Jeethu Joseph. The film’s cinematographer is Satheesh Kurup. Vinayak V. S. is the editor and the music is composed by Vishnu Shyam. Neru is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
Neru OTT Release Date & Platform
It is reported that the film’s OTT rights were bagged by Disney Plus Hotstar. But naturally, there is no official announcement regarding the film’s OTT release date yet. The OTT release date is expected to be announced at least after three weeks of theatrical run. If you are looking for a specific date, then we can expect the film to be available for streaming somewhere in early February.
However, instead of waiting for the OTT release, we recommend you catch the film while it is in the theatres. It looks like an interesting court drama along the lines of the 2016 Hindi film Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu.
