According to the notification on the official website, The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has formally declared the Secondary School Level Certificate (SSLC) Result 2020 today i.e. on Friday, 7th of August, 2020. Students can verify their class 10th result and download the scorecard by logging in to the official website of the Biard which is- karresults.nic.in.
Earlier, the class 10th board exams were scheduled to be conducted between the 27th of March and the 9th of April but had to be postponed because of the nationwide lockdown imposed on the 24th of March due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The Class 10th board exams were later conducted by the Karnataka government from the 25th of June, even after the Congress and JD(S) strongly opposed this decision of the state government. They were demanding to postpone the exams because of the rapidly increasing number of coronavirus cases in the state.
However, while conducting exams, the state government took all the precautionary measures and strictly followed social distancing norms to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus. Students were asked to wear face masks and arrangements for sanitizers and thermal scanners were also made by the state government. Around 8.5 lakh students appeared for the exam this year.
