One of the most awaited Kannada films, Kaatera, is finally out in theatres across Karnataka and all over the world. Though the film is in the first week of its theatrical run, there are already so many questions about the film’s OTT release. So we have decided to come up with some answers through this article.
Made with a massive budget of 45 crores, Kaatera is an out-and-out action drama that is set in the 1970s. The film revolves around a blacksmith named Kaatera who tackles multiple challenges to help the farmers of his village against feudal landlords.
Kaatera Cast & Crew
Alongside Darshan who plays the protagonist, the film stars Aradhana Ram as the female lead and Jagapathi Babu as the antagonist. Kumar Govind, Shruti, Vaijanath Biradar, and others will be seen in supporting roles.
Directed by Tharun Sudhir, Kaatera is co-written by Tharun Sudhir and Jadesh Kumar Hampi. The film’s music is composed by V. Harikrishna. Sudhakar S. Raj is the cinematographer and the movie is edited by K. M. Prakash.
Kaatera OTT Release Date
It is reported that the film’s digital and satellite rights were bagged by Zee5 and Zee Kannada respectively. Though it is established that the film will stream on the Zee5 OTT platform, it is too early to ask for an OTT release date. Looking at the successful run the film is having, we can say that it will take at least 30 to 40 days for the film to appear on your digital screens.
