Dark Season 3: Release Date, Cast, Theories and Everything Else

When it comes to predicting which of Netflix’s original series will be a hit or not is very tricky. Well, no one could have predicted that Dark would become one of the most influential original Netflix TV-Series after the first season.

The first season of Dark came into being in the year 2017. Dark is a sci-fi thriller which comprises German cast, crew, and story. The first season of Dark was an instant hit; on the other hand, the series also has a massive fan world around the world.

The second season gave rise to several theories

After the first season, the story became a little complex and quite gritty and “dark.” However, the showrunner of Dark is yet to reveal what is coming to the series in the third season. The second season did showcase that there is something called alternate reality and it does exist. The second season finale episode did provide a significant twist which the fans didn’t expect in the first place.

The showrunner put some of the significant sci-fi elements in the second season such as numerous timelines, time-traveling device and an imminent apocalypse. The real question is whether Adam/Jonas will stop his older self from destroying the entirety of the world. Jonas even shot Martha whom he loved dearly. Now young Adam needs to shoot Jonas once and for all.

The release date and the cast of season three

Each character in the series has several versions of themselves, which creeps half of the viewers out. Moreover, if the fans see that their favorite characters die in one timeline, then that doesn’t mean they won’t be seen.

Most of the cast members from the second season are making their return. Louis Hofmann, Lisa Vicari, Andreas Pietschmann, Moritz Jahn, Lisa Vicari, Paul Lux, Gina Stiebitz, Maja Schone, Mark Waschke, Karoline Eichhorn and Jordis Triebel will return to reprise their roles in the third season. Additionally, the third season of Dark will return to Netflix in 2020.
