In 2023, after Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal took the box office by storm. Ever since the film was released, there has been a lot of anticipation and speculations about the sequel Animal Park. So here’s everything we know so far.

During the theatrical run of Animal, just when the audience thought the film would end with Ranvijay Singh’s character holding up his son, the film cuts to a post-credit scene in which Ranvijay’s body double Aziz opens the scope for a sequel.

Animal Park Plot

The sequel Animal Park as the name suggests is expected to feature more Animalistic characters like Ranvijay. The film’s plot is expected to feature a crazy battle between Ranvijay and Aziz who will want to avenge the death of Abrar Haque along with his many cousins. While Bobby Deol’s character Abrar Haque got killed, there are some speculations that there might be a flashback featuring his story.

Animal Park Cast

While it is well established that Ranbir Kapoor will be playing a dual role, it is also expected that Tripti Dimri will be playing the female lead in Animal Park. With Rashmika Mandanna’s
character leaving for the United States, it is expected that she will not be seen for a major part in the sequel. Going by the character arcs, Ranvijay’s cousins, Shakti Kapoor, and Saurabh Sachdeva are expected to be seen in Animal Park.

Animal Park Release Date

As of now, writer and director of Animal, Sandeep Reddy Vanga is all set to start his next film titled ‘Spirit’ starring Prabhas. The film is expected to get on floors by September 2024 and release in 2025. Considering Sandeep starts shooting for Animal Part in 2025 it can be expected to be released by the end of 2026 or early 2027.
