Asian movies and shows, slow but steadily, are establishing a firm grip over the worldwide audience. We are already well aware of the Korean wave, and now Chinese shows are gaining momentum. Recently “Tian Ya Ke,” a novel by Chinese author Priest, was adapted into a 36 episode long show named “Word Of Honor,” streaming on Youku and Youtube.
The show gained huge popularity worldwide, and now the fans wonder whether a second season is on the way, so here is everything we know so far.
Word Of Honor Season 2: Renewal Status:
The show became a success story with garnering a 9.3/10 rating on IMDB and 8.6 on My Drama List. The fans are pouring love on various platforms online, and the frenzy to see a second season is already high. But It will take a while for the makers to renew the show as the current season had ended on a sad note, and the makers would have to figure out if they could come up with a story that could match the excellence of Season 1.
So right now, though, we have no renewal news, we hope that the makers will consider the fan’s requests, and we will hear the renewal news in the coming months.
“Word Of Honour” Season 2: Release Date
Since we are not sure whether the show will be renewed, we could only speculate on a release date. Given that the show gets renewed in a couple of months, the production may start by the last quarter of 2021, and eventually, the makers may be able to roll the season out by the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2022. I hope we receive a renewal announcement soon.
Where Can You Watch “Word Of Honor”:
