Demon Slayer Season 1 was released on Netflix on 22nd January 2021, i.e., 16 months after its premiere in Japan. If this pattern is to be followed, then the release of Demon Slayer Season 2 on Netflix may take some time.

Season 2 Plot Continues from Mugen Train
Like other series, the Demon Slayer Season 2 doesn’t follow the plot from Season 1. Instead, the plot is confirmed to follow from the Mugen Train film. You need to watch the film to follow up the second season.

Demon Slayer Season 2 Plot & Cast
Demon Slayer series is an adaptation of Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who wants to become a demon slayer after his family is slaughtered and his younger sister Nezuko is turned into a demon.
Demon Slayer Season 2 will continue with Tanjiro and his friends visiting Yoshiwara red-light district. A demon activity will be suspected in that area, where Tanjiro and his new friend come to the rescue. The cast from season 1 and the anime film will be returning in Season 2.
