The Mandalorian Season 3: Delay in Filming and other details
According to Collider, there is a delay in the filming of the Mandalorian Season 3. Other than the restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are two other reasons why the filming has suffered a halt.
For starters, Pedro Pascal is busy with the live-action HBO adaption of The Last of Us. The filming of The Last of Us will begin July 2021, all the way through June 2022.
The Last of Us production schedule will delay the release date of The Mandalorian season 3 indefinitely. As Mando wears the helmet, Pascal will not always be needed for the filming.
The Mandalorian Season 3: Jon Favreau will use StageCraft Tech in the third season
The technology makes use of high-resolution LED instead of green screens. The tech allows the actors to feel like they’re standing on a location. Moreover, the technology is hit with the filmmakers who work on big-time sci-fi productions.
By the looks of it, George Clooney’s film The Midnight Sky was shot using tech. Moreover, Taika Waititi used to the tech in the MCU film Thor: Love and Thunder. Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Book of Boba Fett will use the same set as the first and second seasons of The Mandalorian.
