The comedy streaming television series “Space Force” revolves around a group of people tasked with establishing the sixth branch of the US Armed Forces, the US Space Force.
The show had received mixed reviews, with the comic timing of Carell being appreciated by almost everybody. Some claimed that the show falls short of greatness, appeasing itself to just being pretty good. But despite everything, fans couldn’t resist the temptation of the show and have been looking forward to a second season, So here is everything we know:
‘Space Force’ Season 2: Renewal Status and filming:
The show had initially been premiered on May 29, 2021, and after a couple of months, In November 2020, it was renewed for a second season. Despite the skeptics raising concerns over a second season, the official announcement came.
Also, some reports suggested that the filming will take place between May 3rd, 2021, and June 21st, 2021. But either it was happening undercover, or it didn’t start because some inside sources revealed that the production didn’t start until May 10.
Given that it’s clear that that shooting has been delayed and it may take a while until it gets wrapped up. Nevertheless, the show will be filmed in Vancouver, Canada.
‘Space Force’ Season 2 Release Date:
If we go by the trend of 1st season, there was a gap of around 14 months between the announcement and the premiere. Since the filming has been delayed a bit, we can expect the show to be released by the end of 2021 or early 2022.
