Heughan confirmed that the shooting has begun and is presently putting his upcoming Starz series in Kilts in the limelight.
Season 5 of Outlander’s shooting was wrapped in November 2019, and just at the start of 2020, many TV productions, including Outlander, came to a strident halt due to the global Coronavirus pandemic. According to Costar Sophie Skelton, everyone experienced some degree of trauma in season 5. The audience will likely expect some uncertain fiascos and red hot adult scenes.
The Season 6 of Outlander will be shot under Covid Guidelines; no release date has been confirmed.
Taking the Covid protocols into consideration, Heughan ensures everyone is safe and feels lucky to work currently.

Well, going ahead of the production, the Pandemic is not the only hindrance to argue. The crew is creeping their way through Scotland’s harsh winter Conditions but yet feels blissful to be back. Everyone has waited long, and back in Mid March, Heughan also shared his excitement with a fan ahead of producing Season 6 before the Pandemic put that to an abrupt halt. Just like Season 5, you will watch only 12 episodes in season 6. As of now, no trailer date has been released.
The Global Pandemic has not touched the love scenes or the plot.
Roberts made it clear that the Six-foot protocol cannot be applied most of the time in a movie, as there will be some intimate scenes between Claire and Jamie. It is on such scenes that this movie gives life to the viewers.

He further added that he has zero knowledge about Covid- friendly scenes in Outlander, as people will be next o each other sharing grievances. But when we talk to people, that is where it gets transfers. Roberts is finding a way to make Outlander look it the previous seasons, rather than making it too reserved and limited.”

The events of season 5 were majorly picked from, Th Fiery Cross, which was Book 5. Towards the end of it, the story diverted towards A Breath of Snow and Ashes. Season 6 will flaunt its continuation.

Yes! One of the casts of Outlander confirmed that on 14th March 2021, that there would be a Season 7. There was also a video on the show’s social accounts where Balfe, Heughan, and Rankin read the tweets of fans begging for an update.

The announcement for seasons 5 and 6 has been since the year 2018. In January 2020, Maril Davis stated that there are many more books to go to while interviewing at Television Critics Association. She further added that she is still looking forward to hearing a word from the actors.
