Maharani series is created by Subhash Kapoor and directed by Karan Sharma. Teaser was released in April month whereas the trailer was released recently on 9th May 2021.
The teaser & trailer of Maharani got a positive response from the audience. And, finally, the makers have revealed the release date too. The series will premiere on SonyLIV on 28th May 2021.
The series has eight episodes, and it will show Rani Bharti, a homemaker and the wife of Bihar’s chief minister. Her life takes a turn when her husband and Bihar’s CM make her his successor.

Maharani Plot & Cast
Maharani series show how Rani Bharti will rise to become CM of Bihar. Her husband Bheema is Chief Minister of Bihar, and when he is barred from office, he has to announce the name of his successor.
While his party members look excited to hear who has been anointed, he makes Rani his successor, leaving everyone surprised. Huma Qureshi plays the role of Rani Bharathi, whereas Sohum Shah plays her husband’s role. Amit Sial, Pramod Pathak, Kani Kusruti, Inaamulhaq, Vineet Kumar will be seen in supporting roles.
