Fantastic Beasts 3 – Release Date

Initially, the Fantastic Beasts 3 was set to be released on 12th November 2021. However, due to the global pandemic and Johnny Depp’s replacement with Mikkelsen, the release was delayed. Johnny Depp was replaced following a public court battle with a UK newspaper. Now, the new release date is announced.

According to the recent update, Fantastic Beasts 3 is going to be released on 15th July 2022. This movie is the sequel to Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018). David Yates directs this fantasy film in the Wizarding World franchise. The movie is not titled yet, but it will be announced soon!

Fantastic Beasts 3 – Plot

Fantastic Beasts 3 will be intriguing because the story will take place several years after the events of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. It is said that the story will take place partly in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and partly in Berlin, Germany. Fans can also expect the epic battle scenes from the film as the story will lead to the Wizarding World’s involvement in World War II.

JK Rowling has said that Fantastic Beasts 3 will be covering 19 years of Wizarding World history. This means the story will continue till 1945, the year that Dumbledore defeated Grindelwald and claimed the Wand from him. Also, it is the same year that a certain Tom Riddle (the future Voldemort) graduated from Hogwarts.
