On Monday, 11th of May, the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a discussion with the Chief Ministers of all the states in order to interact about what next to be done while the whole country is fighting against coronavirus pandemic. He also said that the role of India in taking early steps against coronavirus has been praised by the whole world.

After conducting a meeting through video conference with chief ministers of all the states, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation today for the fourth time on coronavirus outbreak at 8 PM. The news has also been confirmed as the tweet by Prime Minister’s Office says: “Shri @narendramodi will be addressing the nation at 8 PM this evening.”

It is expected that in today’s address, PM Modi will focus on new ways of living life — ‘Jan Se lekar Jag Tak’ (from an individual to the whole of humanity) while permitting some activities to restart after 50 days of the nationwide lockdown.

The PM has already confirmed on Monday that the ‘Do Gaz Ki doori’ motto was critical for India, and even if the country looks forward to slowly withdraw the lockdown, it should constantly remember that its biggest weapon was “social distancing”.

While giving hint about gradual opening up of the economy, PM Modi said that the world would be divided into two parts: pre-Corona and post-Corona, just like the case of the World Wars. He also said India must gain from opportunities brought in by the post-COVID era.
