WandaVision Season 2 Release Date & Cast | Elizabeth Oslen Said it could Have a Second Season!

Full of gut-punching action with an explosive finale, WandaVision ended its first season with nine episodes on Disney +. Starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany this Marvel miniseries started the MCU Phase 4 and as the show has gained a lot of success, everyone is eager to know whether there is a second season in making.

WandaVision Season 2 Wanda Maximoff

The future of WandaVision is unclear. Marvel’s president Kevin Feige has been vague about a potential second season and said that the season count of each show will vary. Having the advantage of the rules being loose on streaming channels, some shows are interconnected and built with keeping more season in mind.

WandaVision Season 2 Release Date

It is not clear what the release date of the second season of WandaVision will be. When asked about the future of the series by Collider, Oslen said it could have a second season.

Even if the show returns, it won’t be until some time as Oslen has been busy filming her pivotal role in Doctor Strange 2 which is scheduled to be released in the year 2022.

The future of the show can also be determined by where it leaves Wanda in the sequel of Doctor Strange. The showrunner Jac Schaeffer, in an interview with New York Times, refused to rule out the possibility of another season but did not give any concrete news about it.

WandaVision Season 2 Cast

The first season saw Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda and Paul Bettany as Vision. They were joined by a talented supporting cast including Kathryn Hahn, Kat Dennings, Teyonah Parris, Randall Park.

WandaVision Season 2 Release Date, Cast and Latest News

If there were to be a second season, we might see some of the faces, especially of Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness, while some might not be included, like that of Parris.

Teyonah Parris impressed the fan with her debut appearance as Monica Rambeau but is less likely to return in season 2 and more likely to be in the upcoming Captain Marvel 2.

If Marvel decides to go forwards with season two of WandaVision, it would be a long time before it even starts to be produced because of the MANY projects undertaken by the studio.

There are a lot of possibilities for the renewal of the show. Maybe there won’t be a second season after all and they will end the series with just a single season or they might make it into a film. Only time can tell what happens next.
