The much-awaited Pongal release of Varisu starring Thalapathy Vijay finally graced the film screens across Tamil Nadu and worldwide on 11th January. After watching the film in theaters, some netizens are eager to know about the film’s OTT release. So here is all you need to know about it.
Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, Varisu is a family action drama film. Made with a budget of 280 crores, the film revolves around a business magnate family and the emotions between them. Vijay plays the role of Vijay Rajendran, the son of a business magnate.
Varisu OTT Platform & Release Date
It is reported that Amazon Prime Video bags the film’s online streaming rights. And as of now, there is no announcement regarding the film’s OTT release date. The film is expected to have an OTT release announcement post its theatrical run. We can expect the film to stream on OTT in late February or early March.

Alongside Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna as the lead pair, the film also stars R Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Khushbu, Yogi Babu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha Shanmughanathan, Nandini Rai and others in supporting roles.
Under the production of Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema, the film is directed by Vamshi Paidipally. S. Thaman composed the music. Karthik Palani is the cinematographer, and Praveen K. L edits the film.
