Trance is an upcoming Malayalam language comedy-drama film that stars Fahadh Faasil, Nazriya Nazim, Soubin Shahir, Vinayakan and Gautham Menon in the main roles. The film was written by Vincent Vadakkan and directed by Anwar Rasheed. The film is scheduled to release on 20th February 2020.
Anwar Rasheed produced the film under Anwar Rasheed Entertainments. The film’s music and songs were composed by the newcomer Jackson Vijayan, Amal Neerad has done the cinematography and the film got edited by Praveen Prabhakar.
The first look poster of the film was revealed by Anwar Rasheed. The film was initially planned to release on 22nd March 2019, then planned for Eid release, and then again postponed to release during Onam. 22nd December is also another planned date for the film, but again due to delay in post-production work, the film finally scheduled to release in February.
The film was written by the debutant Vincent Vadakkan. Vadakkan narrated the story of trance to Anwar much earlier, but the project did not get started as Anwar was not ready to produce the film of its high making cost. According to sources, it is said that Fahadh is the one who insisted Anwar after hearing the script.
The makers of the film released the trailer of the film on 29th January 2020. The trailer received positive feedback from the critics and audience. The 3-minute trailer looks amazing with a song playing in the background right through the trailer. Fahadh is looking perfect for the role he played named Viju Prasad.
Various reports say that this film was made with a budget of 50 Cr. The film can do well at the box-office if it gets a positive talk right from day 1 of its release. Also, the film can even collect more at the box-office as there are no other big movies that are there for competition.
