Chippada Bhargav, also known as Funbucket Bhargav, has been arrested by Andhra Pradesh Police for allegedly raping a minor girl in Vishakhapatnam. The TikTok fame comedian has been arrested from his Hyderabad home and booked under section 376( Punishment for sexual assault), 354( Assault or criminal force to woman), and Sexual Offences(POCSO) Act.
How did the sexual assault come to light?
Police claimed that the accused had persuaded the minor to meet him in return for offers from the media channels. The minor had refused the offers, but he started blackmailing her, saying he had her explicit videos. The family of the minor lodged an FIR against the accused after they found their daughter to be four months pregnant. The Hyderabad Police, which has a distinguished identity for taking stringent actions in cases involving assaults on women immediately came into action and arrested the accused from Hyderabad.
Further course of Action:
The accused had been presented before the Judicial Magistrate and has been sent for judicial remand till May 3. The police have also confiscated a white color Nissan vehicle and a mobile phone from the accused.
The Police have also noticed that if anybody were found sharing the survivor’s photo on social media, strict action would be taken.

FunBucket Bhargav, a 25-year-old from Hyderabad, shot to fame through his lip-syncing videos on TikTok, where he had 6.5M+ followers. His videos had the typical “Oh my God!” “Oh my God!” line was picked up by many brands, including Twitter, Netflix, and Swiggy.
