What could be the plot? The Righteous Gemstones Season 2?
Danny McBride, creator of The Righteous Gemstones Season 2, explained in an interview what the possible storyline of the second season is. The first season ended with the Gemstone family increasing their capital prosperity due to the situation in the world.
Season 2 of The Righteous Gemstones continues from there itself. Jesse and Amber’s marriage is restored and Jesse returns from Haiti with his son. He also said that Kelvin will open his own Kelvin Gemstone God Squad. Keefe supported Kelvin in this group.
The second season will show Eli Gemstone’s backstory, which Junior will show in one way or another. His arrival will cause conflict and bring some drama to the series. A journalist named Thaniel who exposes preachers and their hypocrisy.
The Lisson family leads the Texas megachurch, Lyle and Jesse band about the similarities of their profession and families. The family drama is far from over, Danny McBride said for season 2,
“Of course you’ll continue the Gemstone story, but I think it’s a good idea that each of these seasons stands alone as their own work and story, so you don’t always fool the audience with ‘What now?’ There is a certain amount of people shutting down, and then starting over.”
