Lady Gaga caused an emotional firestorm on Twitter with the release of “Love For Sale,” her second — and last — duets album with Tony Bennett.
Fans flooded her post with reactions and it’s clear she delivered with her new tunes. “Congratulations my love for another amazing show like only you do! Thank you for giving us so many emotions with your art. You are amazing please never forget that, we love you infinitely,” one Little Monster wrote. Another added, “Her calling it their last album makes me emotional … can’t wait to hear it.” A third fan wrote, “Thank you for sharing this music with us. Watching you perform this afternoon made me so ridiculously happy. So thank you for spreading that joy. As Tony taught you, dig deep, and you’ll always find the nectar.”
Gaga and Bennett have always been close, as she told Parade in September 2014. “I tell Tony every day that he saved my life,” she said. Working with him was different than working with anyone else, she explained. ”When I came into this with Tony, he didn’t say, ‘You’ve got to take off all the crazy outfits and just sing.’ He said, ‘Be yourself.'”
