At the time of writing, neither has the broadcasting network’s makers; the CW has issued any release date for the eighth season. Maybe when The Flash’s Season 7 is about to reach the finale episode or finished, perhaps the makers will renew The Flash for Season 8.
COVID-19 pandemic has reportedly delayed the series’s consistent time and then threw off the timetable to promptly release the series like it’s been going on for the last six years.
