Recipient of several awards like a Golden Globe and SAG Award (Sudeikis), the Apple TV Plus much-awaited Ted Lasso is finally back with another season. With the caption “This year, kindness makes a comeback,” the show’s comeback is spreading positivity in the year filled with lots of negative news. CEO Tim Cook made the announcement revealed the information about the upcoming season 2 to air on 23 July 2021.

Along with it, a trailer showing the first look for season 2 was also unveiled. The showmakers decided for season 2 after airing the first, but after looking at the record-breaking response from the fans, it got renewal confirmation for season 3 as well.

The story revolves around Jason Sudeikis, an American Football coach at AFC Richmond (English Premier League team). However, he has no experience in coaching for soccer. Despite being a Football coach at Wichita State, he utilizes the same set of knowledge, positivity, and skills to accomplish the job. The showrunner (Bill Lawrence) revealed that season 2 would be complete turmoil for your favorite cast as they are currently demoted to lower rankings.

During an Apple event today, CEO Tim Cook shared the news of Ted Lasso’s comeback on the 23rd of July 2021. Along with it also unveiled a 2-minute trailer showcasing your favorite star cast from season 1. Additionally, you could witness a new sports psychologist for the team (Sharon).

Again, the fans’ good news as the upcoming season will be two episodes more than the previous one. But, it is still not sure how many of them will be available to you on the very first day of streaming, i.e., 23 July 2021.
