Salman Khan’s Radhe will release in theatres & OTT simultaneously
The most awaited film of Salman Khan, Radhe, has finally got a release date. The makers announced that Radhe would be released on 13th May 2021 on the occasion of Eid. Not only that, this film will be released in theatres & OTT simultaneously.
The filmmakers have opted for a hybrid release model, which we can see in Hollywood these days. On the same day, i.e., on Eid, 13th May, the film will be released in theatres and online streaming platforms, Zee5 and Zee Plex.
However, the film is not available for free on OTT. The makers have decided on the pay-per-view route, which means the audience has to pay a certain amount to watch Radhe at the comfort of their homes. It will not be part of their subscription as well.
Shariq Patel, the chief business officer at Zee Studios, said that they are proud to be the first to embark upon this new distribution strategy. Due to the ongoing pandemic situation, they came up with this solution.
So, now the audience can also choose to watch the film from their comfort or watch it in theatres. If you watch the movie in theatres, you must follow the protocols and ensure your safety above everything.
