Sadak 2 is the forthcoming Bollywood film directed by the legendary Mahesh Bhatt. After 20 years of break from directing the film, Mahesh Bhatt has helmed the role of director for the first time. The upcoming romantic thriller is the sequel of the super-hit 1991 romantic thriller, Sadak.

Moreover, the film is produced by Mukesh Bhatt under the banner, Vishesh Films. The filmmaking of Sadak 2 began back in Feb 2019 and it will release some time this month.

Sadak 2 Cast:

The film features an ensemble star cast with actors like Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt reprising their roles as Ravi Verma and Pooja Verma, respectively. In addition to this, the additional star cast of the film includes Alia Bhatt, Gulshan Grover, Aditya Roy Kapur, Abdul Quadir Amin, and Makarand Deshpande as renowned God-Man.

The film also features Priyanka Bose, Jishu Sengupta, Babrak Akbari, John Gardener, Mohan Kapoor, Vaibhav Choudhary, among others.

The film has been penned down by Mahesh Bhatt, Pushdeep Bhardwaj, and Suhrita Sengupta.

The film revolves around the older Ravi who has depression and his endeavor in aiding a young woman who encounters a God-Man, a false guru who has been running an ashram for decades.

Sadak 2 Release Date:

Initially, Sadak 2 was going to release on the 25th of March 2020; however, the release date was pushed forward to the 10th of July 2020. As the prevailing pandemic in the country is disrupting everything, the producers and people associated with the film decided to release it on a streaming service.

Sadak will release exclusively on Dinsey+ Hotstar on the 28th of August 2020.
