RRB JE CBT 2 exam from August 28, check date and city details here

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has scheduled the second stage of Computer Based Test (CBT) to be conducted for a period of 5 days i.e. from 28th of August to 1st of September, 2019.

A total of 1,88,616 candidates have been shortlisted for the RRB JE 2nd Stage CBT exam. The candidates will be able to download the second stage admit card from the official sites of regional RRBs soon. However, the Board has not yet announced the date of release of admit card.

However, the Board has released the details about date and place of the exam on its several RRB regional websites.

The Board has also provided a link on all its official websites. The candidates who will appear for the exam can login to that link by entering their login credentials. This way, they will be able to know their city of exam, date, session, and can also download Free Train Travel Authority (for SC/ST candidates only) and E-Call letter.

The RRB had also issued a notification through the Centralised Employment Notice CEN.03/2018. The notification was for the recruitment for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer – Information Technology (JE-IT), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).

The second stage CBT exam will contain a total of 150 Multiple Choice Questions. Also, there will be a negative marking of 1/3rd for every wrong answer. The students will get total of 120 Minutes to complete the exam (160 minutes for eligible PwBD candidates accompanied with scribe).

The subjects of second stage CBT exams are General Awareness, Physics and Chemistry, Basics of Computers and Applications, Basics of Environment and Pollution Control and Technical abilities.

Short listing of Candidates for the verification of document will be on the basis of normalized marks obtained by them in 2nd Stage CBT.
