Riverdale: Plot so far

The series was adapted from theArchies Comics. However, the plot is a little different from the comics. The core characters have been brought from the comics, with the story tweaked.

Riverdale follows the footsteps of four teenage high school students. Beginning with the murder of a teenager, the show goes forth with twists and turns that keep the viewers coming back for more.

Primarily, the series is about Archie, the protagonist, trying to find the truth about the quaint little town they call Riverdale.

What will be Season 6 about?

At the time of writing, Season 5 was still airing. Season 5 has been an exciting turn of events with a massive seven-year jump into the future.

The storyline for Season 5 remains a mystery; the show is still running. Social media, however, is filled with fans and their theories. All that aside, there’s a chance that Season 6 could throw a couple of curveballs, like Season 5. We can expect new progressions in the plot and characters.

So far, Season 5 has brought forward changes. The high school journey for the core four has come to an end and flung forward into the future. The new season sheds light on some of the most “important” and factual issues that the characters need to terms with.

Riverdale Season 6 cast:

The cast of the show has not been officially released yet. However, the primary characters, KP Apa, Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, and Camila Mendes, are expected to make a return.

Riverdale Season 6 Release Date: What to expect?

Riverdale had kept the viewers on their toes since its release back in 2017. From romance to murders, there’s no limit to what the show has to offer. The teen-drama has been fun. However, Season 5 brought something new, and we love it!

Despite the talk of Season 5 being the last season of the show,The CWconfirmed a new season. Before the expectations of the “release date,” we must first wait out the current season.

Once Season 5’s finale is out, we can expect the show to start production. However, bear in mind, it could take a while to get the following season. Although Season 5 happened quite soon, there’s a chance that the unprecedented times could delay production.

To know more about the plot, characters, and what the new season would hold, we’d have to wait for some confirmations. We can probably expect something like Season 5, which began shooting in July 2020 and was released in January 2021. We could get the next installment by January 2022.
