Ragnarok Season 2 To Premiere On Netflix From May 27th 2021

Netflix originals have never failed to impress us, however, this was the first time it’s gracing our silver screens with a Norwegian fantasy drama. The exotic ride we went through season 1 left the fans baffled and they can’t wait for season 2.

The first season of the series was released on 31 January 2020. The series was a beautiful adaptation of Home For Christmas and personified the folk Norse mythology most authentically.

Ragnarok Season 2 Release On OTT and Release Date Confirmed

The makers and Netflix team, keeping in mind the popularity and buzz around this series have renewed it for a sophomore. The makers of Ragnarok have confirmed the release of season 2 on May 27th, 2021. Thus the fans would be able to stream the sophomore on Netflix from 27 May onwards.

Ragnarok Premise

The premise of Ragnarok unveils a fictional town, Edda in the west of Norway. And as the popular Norse mythology goes, it unravels a plague that strikes the city which causes major climate change.

The reason being industrial pollution, which is predominantly owned by the Jutul family. Now, there comes our protagonist, the rebel, Magne, (embodiment of Thor, the Norse God) who fights against these giants to curb the ongoing climate change.
