Prassthanam Day 1 Collection: 1st Day Box Office Collections – Sanjay Dutt

Prassthanam is a very important film for Sanjay Dutt as he is trying to make a comeback into acting one more time. Previously, the two mediocre efforts from Sanjay Dutt were Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster, and Bhoomi. Dutt finally returns to his home production to curate and produce the film.

Prassthanam is a remake of Telugu film of the same name where the movie is set during the political backdrop. Deva Katta, the director of the original 2010 film is also the director of the Bollywood remake of Prassthanam.

Cast of Prassthanam

Sanjay Dutt portrays the role of a notable MLA, Mr. Baldev Pratap Singh. The film also features Jackie Shroff (Badshah), Manisha Koirala (Singh’s Wife), Ali Faizal (Singh’s Step Son) and Satyajeet Dubey (Vivaan, Singh’s son). Chunky Pandey portrays the role of a conniving businessman namely Khatri. It is important to note that the Telugu version of the film was around three hours long whereas the Bollywood remake of Prassthanam is around 2:20 mins.

Friday 1st Day Net Collection in India is ₹2.00 Crores.

1st Day Worldwide Collection of the film is ₹2.70 Crores.

According to sources, the film has an occupancy of around 10% to 13% on the first day of business.

Sanjay Dutt’s wife Maanayata Dutt helms the producer of the film. In addition to this, the film has been released under the production banner of Sanjay S Dutt.
