Prabhas Adipurush shooting stopped in Maharashtra due to huge spike in COVID cases

The biggest Indian Film this year, ‘Adipurush,’ stopped its shooting as the covid-19 transmission is increasing rapidly.

The reason behind the halt of the shooting

As the 2nd wave of coronavirus has hit Maharashtra massively. The state government has decided to stop the shooting of all tv serials, reality shows, and movies, so ‘Adipurush’ is not an exception.

In the meantime, the 2nd wave of covid-19 has crossed the previous spike, and Maharashtra has become the epicenter, so the team ‘Adipurush’ has left no other option instead quit the shooting for a while.

About the movie

It is already reported that this movie is going to be a mythological adaptation of the Ramayana Epic. The film’s total budget is around 400 crore and expected to hit the screen on 11th August 2022.

As per the report, the latest technology will be introduced for the making of this film, and most of the shoot is set in a green-mat set environment.

Cast & crew

Megastar Prabhas would play the role of Ram along with Kriti has announced to act as Seeta as per the report. Saif Ali Khan has also delivered an important role. The fans are eagerly waiting to see their magic on the silver screen.

Om Raut, Kumar Krishnan, Bhusan Kumar are directing the film, and the film is produced by T series.
