AIDS and LGBTQ community is still a topic that people try to avoid talking about. But western cinema has come a long way, and now these ideas are being discussed openly to a great degree. Bringing the story alive the season three of the American Drama series Pose will soon be on the floor.
Here’s what you need to know about the stereo and taboo-breaking series.
The first season shows the vivid lifestyle of New York. Set in the late 1980’s it captures the Latino ball culture scenes prevalent during those times.
The second season takes the story forward but has a lot to offer. The second season deals with the AIDS epidemic in the queer community. Amidst all this problem, there is a ball competition which assures acceptance to the winner: the two houses, namely the House of Evangelista and House of Abundance. Compete for the “winner” title. The whole story revolves around the struggles of the character and the protagonist fighting the ills and odds.
The series has a long list of characters and actors. Bri going the story alive with Evan Peters as Stan Bowes, Kate Mara playing Patty Bowes, Stan’s wife, Mj Rodriguez as Blanca Rodriguez-Evangelista is an AIDS-infected trans, and much more.
The series is created by the trio Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Steven Canals. Tue responsibility of the score is in Mac Quayle’s hands, and the cinematography is by Simon Dennis, Nelson Cragg.
Pose Season 3 Release Date
The first season of the series was telecasted way back on June 3, 2018and the second season was aired on June 11, 2019.
The third season, which is supposed to be the final season of the series, will be telecasted on 2nd May 2021 on FX for the American audience. However, the previous two seasons are available on Netflix, and the third season can be expected to be streamed on Netflix between June and July.
