Period drama, a gangster epic, film star leads, If there is a show which can add too many adjectives to itself and still go against them in many interesting ways, It’s “Peaky Blinders.” Since its original release in 2013, the show has rolled out 5 seasons, and none of them has missed to impress us.
The show follows the Shelby crime family and their exploits after the First World War. An interesting thing to note is that the fictional family is indeed very much inspired by a real urban youth gang of a similar name who was active in Birmingham between 1890 and the early 20th century. We are well aware of the anticipation regarding the latest season, so here we are with all the details.
Peaky Blinders Season 6 Production and Release Date details:
We could have savored the show by now if Pandemic wouldn’t have hit the world, but like Covid pushed a lot of things into ambiguity, the same happened with Peaky Blinders as well. The production was halted in 2020, which was able to resume only in January 2021.
As of May 28, the production has been wrapped up, but as informed by Director Anthony Byrne on his Instagram handle, the editing part will take a couple of months more. Hence we can expect the show to premiere its sixth highly anticipated season by late 2021 or early 2022. Nevertheless, the season is going to be a blockbuster, even better than its former seasons.
