As the shooting of the show had only started by the Spring of 2019 and the Emmy’s were held on September with some awards for Jason Bateman, Julia Garner with some awards for the show itself. In these times even the show was being filmed and had not been wrapped up by October countering the reports about it.
In light of this, we can only expect the show to return by April 2020.As it always takes like six months for each show which finishes filming to premiere on Netflix. In some cases, the premiere dates are closer to the end of production. Hope that will be the case with Ozark Season 3.
According to Jason Bateman, the Byrde family will be helping operate the casino in season 3. The story will have a six month time jump also from the previous season.
