The latest in the line is “Operation Java” which revolves around unsung heroes who are often not credited and real-life cases that are rarely heard of. The film after being delayed a few times was finally released in the theatres on February 12, 2021. The film became the lone blockbuster in 2021 and now the makers are all set to release it on OTT Platforms.

The rights for streaming have been bought by Zee5 and it will be available for streaming from the 9th of May.

The film is based on real-life cases which were solved by a cyber cell police station in the city of Kochi within a span of 1 and half year. The team is joined by 2 employees Antony and Vinay Dasan who help the team to solve the cases with their wits. How they can solve all the cases and deal with their inner complexities, the film is about that.

The film has a huge star cast including some well-known faces and some debutants. The lead cast includes Balu Varghese who plays the character of Anthony George, Irshad playing Prathapan, Vinayakan playing Ramanathan, Binu Pappu playing Joy, Lukman playing Vinaya Dasan, and Shine Tom Chacko playing Cl Jacob Mani. The film is directed by debutant Tharun Moorthy and produced by V Cinemas International.
