Oklahoma Natural Gas (ONG) is the backbone of one of Oklahoma’s oldest companies, established in 1906. In Oklahoma, Oklahoma Natural Gas serves over 877,000 private, domestic, and industrial customers. ONG is a subsidiary of ONE Gas, Inc., a natural gas distribution firm established in 1980, and is the successor of the company that eventually became ONEOK, Inc.
ONE Gas is the nation’s only publicly traded, entirely operated natural gas utility. It serves over 2 million customers in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Texas with natural gas delivery.
Tulsa, Oklahoma, is the company’s headquarters. It is the largest natural gas distributor in Oklahoma and Kansas and the seventh-largest in Texas regarding consumer numbers.
One Gas is the successor to Oklahoma Natural Gas Corporation, established in 1906 and became ONEOK Inc. in 1980. ONEOK split its natural gas delivery company into ONE Gas Inc. in 2014. It is the company that aspires to be the best.
