The news of Thalaivar 168 film to be directed by Siva and produced by Sun Pictures is currently in trend.
The official announcement by Sun Pictures recently has made it the hottest topic among Tamil people all over the world.
In 2010, only the might of Sun Pictures could produce and release Shankar directed Enthiran or Robot. Produced with a budget of more than 1.5 billion, it was the then costliest Indian film.
With the help of Sun TV, it also became the first movie to bring in large collections from all over the world, set a base for future Tamil film and collected more than 2.5 billion.
Their next venture Petta with Karthik Subbaraj also collected 2.5 billion.
Although there is around the ten-year gap between the two films, the facts only tell the massive response for this combination of Ranji and Sun TV among the Tamil people worldwide.
Thala Ajith’s favorite director Shiva has now shifted to Thalaivar 168. He has directed all his last four movies with Ajith only.
Siva was all set to direct Surya’s 69th movie but has now signed by Sun Pictures for directing Thalaivar 168.
With huge successes like Veeram with Ajith, Siva would be the perfect choice for Sun Pictures to portray Rajni in the proper form before the 2021 assembly elections.
The much-awaited party announcement of Rajni was ended in 2017 when he announced his party Rajini Makkal Mandram. But he made a distance from the MP elections in 2019 and confirmed that his party would contest all the seats only in the 2021 assembly elections.
Now, the announcement of Sun Pictures of Thalaivar 168 will not only change the Tamil cinema industry but also the political equations and future of Tamil Nadu.
