NTA JEE Main 2020: Registration to Begin from Tomorrow at nta.ac.in

Joint Entrance Examination which is intended for the admission procedure of Engineering colleges across the country has started accepting applications for the same. The online applications process will start from tomorrow, September 3, 2019, Tuesday. The official body National Testing Agency has already released the exam Schedule. Further details on the examination are expected to be released by this Sunday.

In the schedule released earlier for this examination, the exams will be held from January 6th to 11th of 2020.The results will be published by January 30th, 2020.After the decision to organize the examination twice a year back in 2018, the exams are held in January and April each year. The applications for April Exam of 2020 will start only in February 7th, 2020 and is expected to be active till March 7th. The exam will be held on 3rd to 9th April 2020 and the results will be published on 30th April 2020according to the schedule.

All the examinations by National Testing Agency are held online and require quite a good computer expertise. For enabling candidates to get used to this, the Test Practice Center will be active from today. NTA has enabled network test practice centers all over the country with the sole intention to facilitate candidates for online exams. The exam test practice centres are currently setup over 4000 engineering colleges and schools with the facility to write exams including JEE Main. Students can practice for free by visiting the centre every Saturday and Sunday. The Test centre will have a downloaded version of the actual online test which is entirely similar to it. This will enable candidate get used to login system, and much technical stuff including basic mouse handling.

Test practice centres are arranged mainly in rural areas to empower such locations. They are prompted to register on the website for using the test practice centre.

Documents Required to Register

  • Passport-sized photograph with date and signature
  • Scanned copy of signature to upload
  • Date of Birth as mentioned in SSLC Certificate
  • Class 10 and class 12 mark sheet
  • EWS, PWD, SC/ST or another reservation certificate, if applicable
  • Other relevant educational qualification certificates.
