Nithiin and Nabha Natesh starrer Maestro has finally signed the OTT deal with the Disney+ Hotstar streaming platform. The film, which was earlier scheduled for a theatrical release on June 11, is now heading straight to a digital release. Due to the delays and cancellations of plans due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The film heading for a direct digital premiering. In addition, the digital rights sealed by the streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar are officially confirmed by the makers. Along with this, according to sources, the film is supposed to hit the digital screens on August 15. But, again, these are mere speculations. We have to wait for an official announcement by the filmmakers to confirm the digital premiering dates.
As far as Disney+ Hotstar streaming platform is concerned, they are planning for a massive promotion for the digital premiering of Nithiin’s Maestro. It is due to the reason that the Nithiin’s Maestro is their first Telugu release. The leads, Nithiin and Nabha Natesh, are also all set to actively participate in the promotional campaigns. Furthermore, the streaming platform is planning for an innovative promotional approach for the same.
Merlapaka Gandhi’s directorial Maestro is based on Bollywood’s Andhadhun. The superhit black comedy thriller starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, and Radhika Apte in the lead. Henceforth, in Maestro, Nithiin will play Ayushmann Khurrana, whereas Tamannaah Bhatia will play as Tabu, and Nabha Natesh will be playing as Radhika Apte, respectively.
Maestro is based on a blind Pianist’s story. He gets involved in a murder mystery accidentally. Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy are the film producers, and the movie has music from popular Saagar Mahathi.
