Netflix has confirmed the release of ‘The Idhun Chronicles’ which is going to be its first original Spanish anime on August 13, 2020. The anime will be premiered in more than 190 countries from 10th September. ‘The Idhun Chronicles’ is an adaptation of ‘The Resistance’ written by Laura Gallego. ‘The Idhun Chronicles’ is produced by Zeppelin and developed in Vitoria-Gasteiz will be having five episodes of 25 minutes each.
The story of ‘The Idhun Chronicles’ is about action, friendship, and fun. The clip which has been released by Netflix introduces the audience to the lead characters of the anime who fight for Idhun’s freedom.
‘The Idhun Chronicles’ Characters
Victoria(Michelle Jenner):- she has special powers and learning from Shail how to use them. her powers are limited to healing the soul of Limbhad. And further connecting with it.
Jack(Itzan Escamilla):- He is 13 years old and suffers from snake phobia. He also has anxiety and feels a burning sensation around him when he is nervous. He is shown optimistic, stubborn, and impulsive.
Shail(Nico Romero):- he received a gift of magic from a unicorn and is the wizard of Resistance. He taught Vitoria how to use her power.
Alsan(Carlos Cuevas):- Received his education in the academy of Nurgon, he is the crown prince of the Kingdom of Vanissar. He is the leader of ‘Resistance’ which is a rebel group.
Kirtash(Sergio Mur):- He is 15 years old and serves Ashran, Necromancer, and enjoys the unwavering support of Elrion the wizard. He is an experienced killer.
‘The Idhun Chronicles’ Plot
When the three suns and moon come in alignment over Idhun, Ashram the Necromancer seized the power. Thereafter started the reign of winged snakes. The battles happen on Earth where Victoria and Jack fight Kirtash who is sent by Ashran to kill those who escaped. Jack and Victoria fights and make some unexpected alliances.
