Netflix Renews ‘Elite’ Renewed For Season 6 & Much More Exciting News

Netflix can’t get enough Elite. The streamer announced Thursday that it has renewed the Spanish-language teen drama for Season 6, well ahead of the Season 5 premiere.

In addition, Netflix confirmed three new holiday-themed episodes of the short spin-off Elite: short stories: “Phillipe, Caye, & Felipe” (premiere Wednesday, December 15), “Samuel & Omar” (premiere Monday, December 20), and “Patrick” (premiere Thursday, December 23).

Located in an upper secondary school, Elite follows the relationships between three working-class scholarship students and their wealthy classmates. Season 4, which came out on June 18 and earned a TVLine reader rating “C+”, ended with the departure of two original cast members:
