The Tamil-language Indian legal drama film, Nerkonda Paarvai directed and written by H. Vinoth has been successful as far as the box office collection is concerned. In addition to this, the movie is a complete remake of Pink, a Bollywood film which featured Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.
Nerkonda Paarvai features the popular Tamil actor Ajith Kumar, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Shraddha Srinatha and Andrea Tariang as lead actors. The story revolves around three female friends who have been wrongfully accused of attempting to murder. Meera, Famitha, and Andrea were corned and called forward for punishment. Moreover, this is where the retired lawyer Bharath Subramaniam played by Ajith Kumar steps in to make sure that the women get justice.
Meera was also kidnapped and molested by the real culprits, Vishwa, Venkatesh, Adhik Ramajayam. However, Meera was dropped back home and was threatened to withdraw the complaint. Nevertheless, she was taken into police custody on prostitution and attempt to murder charges put forward by Adhik. Bharath helps the women in the time of need and wins the case after a significant struggle.
