The Tamil version of Hindi movie Pink has done a splendid collection st the box office. Its viewership is not limited to South India only, in fact, it’s not limited to India even. It has done some tremendous business across many countries.
One can estimate the success of the film by the fact that the film is declared as a blockbuster in Australia, and New Zealand, where the English dubbed version of the film was premiered. The film has managed to account for over 20 crores overseas collection which is phenomenal.
Surpassed many new releases:
Nerkonda Paarvai is in its second week of the collection still its viewership hasn’t seen any dip to mention. There are many new films that have hit the box office this week, and all of them are expected to give a tough fight to the film.
There are 3 Tamil films, a couple of Hindi releases, a couple of Telugu films, and a solitary Hollywood film to mention. Yet, the film has managed to maintain its collection rate at a decent level throughout its course.
The film has joined the elite 100 crore club:
Ramesh Bala in his previous tweet informed about the amazing performance of the film in the overseas box office.
In his tweet today Bala mentioned that Nerkonda Paarvai has crossed the 100 crore collection mark that to quite convincingly. He added that the film is considered as a blockbuster in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and other regions.
Detailed collection stats of the films:
Nerkonda Paarvai has done its major chunk of collection in Tamilnadu.
- It collected Rs 72.5 crore in Tamil Nadu,
- followed by Rs 4.1 crore in Karnataka,
- Rs 1.95 crore in Kerala.
As earlier mentioned the film did reasonably well in overseas cinemas it has collected Rs 20.5 crore overseas in the last 10 days. In tandem, all of them takes the tally of the film well past 100 crores.
