Popular Kannada Actor Dharshan is famous for movies he chooses to work upon. Vinay Balaji a debut Film director who has been a renowned VFX worker in Shah Rukh Khan Company ‘Red Chillies’ is directing Nanna Prakara.
The title could be loosely translated as “What goes around comes around”. It could be considered in a positive as well as negative sense. The name points towards Karma. What you do to someone will be done back to you in one way or other. A small mistake if neglected, could cause a huge impact on someone else’s’ life which is the gist of the movie storyline. The story is pictured from a unique point of view.

“The story is multi-dimensional comprising three different stories getting intertwined by the incidents that come up as the movie progresses. All these events advance to a crime.” Explained Vinay himself.
“I think the story of the film is what I first thought of as a short film. As the story went on, it turned into a great movie. We need talented artists to put across this story to the audience. But, I am new as a director. Boldly, Priyamani, Kishore, Mayuri, and others have told the story. Do not miss this movie.” says Balaji.
“Priyamani and Kishore starred in most of the South Indian cinemas. They have a huge fanbase over their own states and multiple languages. They considered this as their own movie and agreed to promote it after the trailer was out. And now the remake is under process.” He added.
Vinay who had previously worked as a popular VFX editor promised that the movie will have some graphically awesome scenes. The storyline doesn’t offer enough plot for graphics yet he agreed the audience will be pleasantly surprised to see the clever usage of it in the movie.
Nanna Prakara Movie Review
We have been seeing a series of thrillers in the Kannada film industry and each one is managing to impress more than the one that came before. And Nanna Prakara is no exception. The film is an impressive seat edge thriller.
Writer-director Vinay Balaji did a great job in converging three different stories into one. Special credits must be given to the screenplay. It is crisp and engaging. The film’s length is also perfect.
When it comes to thriller, the performance of actors matters so much. And veteran actors Priyamani, Kishore have given great performances. Rest of the actors have also done their job pretty well.
Overall, we can say the film lives up to its tagline ‘Multi-Layered Thriller’. And the layers are convincing and gripping making the film a perfect thriller.
