Telugu star Nani is soon coming back with a supernatural thriller film, “ Shyam Singha Roy,” directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Nani’s fans have already started anticipating the movie due to its popular reincarnation theme and the classy and disparate poster showcasing a twirled mustache.
The period drama has been shot in the backdrop of Kolkata and set in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The film was scheduled to be released on 25 December 2020, but due to the pandemic, the release date was shifted to 25 May 2021. Has Shyam Singha Roy been signed for a 30 Crore deal?
The film made on a budget of around 50 crores has sure shot to be a commercial success. This is because the latest update suggests that the film’s producer Venkat Boyanapalli has been offered a whopping Rs 30 crore, only for the non-theatrical rights like satellite and digital streaming Hindi rights. This, when added to the theatrical rights, will take the overall collection to another level.
Shyam Singha Roy: Cast
The lead role in the film is being played by none other than Nani. Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty will be sharing the screen opposite him. Madonna Sebastian, Jisshu Sengupta, Murali Sharma, Rahul Ravindran, Abhinav Gomatam, and Subhalekha Sudhakar will also be playing crucial roles in the film.
Anirudh Ravichander has given the film’s score, and the epic cinematography, which is evident from the poster itself, has been provided by Sanu John Varghese.
