The last episode of Marvel Studios Assembled goes behind the scenes on the What if…? animation series.
What if…? was another major milestone for Marvel Studios as their first animation project, exploring an alternate reality featuring some of our favorite characters in the universe, such as Captain Carter, T’Challa as Star-Lord, and many other variations. The series also notably saw the return of many Marvel stars who voiced their live-action animation counterparts.
The first season of What if…? ended earlier this month with the changed characters from previous episodes teaming up as the Guardians of the Multiverse to take down an Infinity Gauntlet with Ultron. Like all Marvel shows that have come before it, there will also be a Marvel Studios Assembled episode focused on the making of the series.
Along with the announcement of the new Marvel Studios Assembled episode we also got a first look. In the trailer we see the What if…? creators talk about the animation inspired by Norman Rockwell’s art, a tease of how it will affect the films, and much more. The episode is out now on Disney Plus, and you can watch its trailer online.
Here’s the synopsis for Marvel’s first season of What if…?:

Marvel’s What if…? with the voices of Josh Brolin, Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo, Michael B Jordan, Chadwick Boseman, Jeffrey Wright, Hayley Atwell and other great stars of the MCU.
