South India’s first techno horror film ‘Chathur Mukham’ will be releasing on Zee5. Directed by Ranjeet Kamala Sankar and Salil V, Chathur Mutham delves into a nightmare where over-dependence and acceptance of technology turn the protagonist‘s life into a horrifying hell and one’s best friend into the worst enemy.

The techno horror was initially released in the theatres in April; it persuaded the masses to the theatres, but as the 2nd wave aggravated, the film had to be withdrawn, and the makers promised to rerelease it later. But since the theatres remain shut with the looming fear of 3rd wave, the makers have sold the Digital and Television Rights for the film to Zee5, and it will be releasing on the platform soon.

Chathur Mukham is selected to the 25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in South Korea. It is showcased in the World Fantastic Red sections of the Festival. The film stars Manju Warroor, Sunny Waine, and Alencier Ley Lopez in the lead roles. It’s written by Abhayakumar K and Anil Kurian.
